Changing Stores breaks the category page due to URL getting encoded

Go to the Vue Storefront Magento demo, from a category page change the store. https://demo-magento.vuestorefront.io/default/women/tops-women.htm

Describe the bug

When you are on a category page and change the store view, the reloaded URL is encoded, which stops the page from fully working.

For example, if you are in this category: https://demo-magento.vuestorefront.io/default/women/tops-women/jackets-women.html

Switching the store will result in this URL: https://demo-magento.vuestorefront.io/german/women%2Ftops-women%2Fjackets-women.html
