Importing fails on .ply imports from other 3rd party Splat export

I've tried splats from Postshot , Super splat and Luma.

I've been getting error messages on each import. That it's unable to import. This used to work for me in 5.3 and 5.4 but the latest is giving me import errors. Is there a compatibility issue with export types and settings not matching or file size limit? Unfortunately, the error message is not informative.

"ply properties header format invalid, pls check it first"

I am getting the same issue, I have tried with splats trained by Gsplat and an online GS model too.
