Would it be possible to make preview async from scrolling?

i have a weak laptop and whenever i scroll thru / dir or some images the preview slows down the scrolling. Would it be possible to make the preview load asynchronously, so that i can quickly scroll thru folders but if the preview hasnt loaded it just shows Loading

This is a good idea. Regarding performance, a lot can be improved in superfile.
