First of all, I want to sincerely thank you for creating such a unique browser.
Zen Browser really stands out from all other browsers – it feels modern, minimal, and at the same time powerful.
I truly appreciate the vision and the hard work behind it. 🙏

💡 Suggestions to make Zen even better

🔹 1. PWA integration in the side panel

It would be amazing to allow adding Progressive Web Apps (for example ChatGPT, translators, WhatsApp, Spotify and many others) directly into the left sidebar.
➡️ This would turn Zen into a true productivity hub.

🔹 2. Bookmarks panel inside the sidebar

An option to display bookmarks in the left sidebar – for example at the bottom part – would make it much easier to quickly access saved sites without opening an extra menu. 📑

✨ 2.1. Modern design for bookmarks

It would also be great if the bookmarks panel had a more modern look:

• larger and more comfortable window for browsing bookmarks,
• nicer, more readable font,
• clean, minimal design that matches the overall Zen style.

This would make bookmarks not only functional, but also pleasant to use visually. 🎨

🔹 3. Custom buttons next to the Downloads icon

It would be very useful to allow users to add custom buttons in the top toolbar next to the downloads button.
For example: quick access to PWAs, extensions, history, recently opened pages, or favorite actions. ⚡

🔹 4. Translator improvements

The built-in translator is very helpful 🌍, but right now it works a bit imperfectly.
✨ Improving it would make browsing even smoother and more enjoyable.

PWA integration in the side panel

How would this be different than pinning those sites?

Actually, pinning tabs is not quite the same
Pinned tabs are still just browser tabs, while what I mean is closer to mini-apps (PWAs) integrated into the sidebar.

For example:

Spotify or YouTube Music could run there as a small player
ChatGPT could stay open for quick access to AI
translators, messengers or other web apps could live in their own little windows without cluttering the main tab bar.

Firefox recently added something similar, but only for AI (you can pin ChatGPT in the sidebar as a sort of app). My suggestion is to make this idea broader and more flexible - so users could choose any PWA or site to add to the sidebar

And yes, in the same place it would also be really convenient to have bookmarks or history - a real productivity hub inside the sidebar, not just pinned tabs at the top
