2_freight (scripts)

The scripts in this folder do processing specific to the freight path as shown in the diagram.

Note: the scripts in this folder assume that you have already run the utility Export Future Highways in 1_travel (scripts) and that you are happy with the output.

This directory does the processing which was originally part of Karly Cazzato's MFN_Programs-and-skims, so that now this directory does the processing and her repository does the modeling.

This folder contains the following scripts:

  • modules/FN.py (the FN Module)
  • u_create_meso_layers.py (Create Meso Layers) - creates link and node layers for the meso-scale freight network.
  • u_create_override_meso.py (Create Override Meso) - makes an override file to select links which are part of the meso-scale freight network.
