It might be a week or two before I can get around to it but if this is still open then I'll try to implement those todo items. Question though @saylorsd - it seems like you've got some notes on this PR referencing another commit that hasn't been pushed yet? |

converted map component to function-based and used hooks for state and events
map popups now display a list of features below where the user clicks
