If the game is unpatched (read: standard VFS) the menu has its normal behavior. (You can't see it but I'm spamming insert/triangle, and also the button guide is the regular one unlike above.)

Maybe also consider adding a dark-green selected movie sprite? The purple kinda clashes with the jade, and doesn't sell that the highlighted entry may have changed as well imo
