Integrating with Mealime

Typical lead time is approximately eight to twelve weeks from launch. The Mealime team will work with you to adjust the timeline based on your data needs and launch date.

There can be a non-trivial amount of work needed to integrate, depending the overall quality and completeness of your data and if a client integration is required. Here is a high level task list of what will be expected. A large majority of the work will come at the beginning of the integration.

Integration timelime

  • Scope
    • Partner to provide documentation for available APIs
    • Confirm requirements for Client Application integration
    • Review this technical documentation & introduction to Mealime integration wiki
  • Agree to integration
    • Mealime will provide a timeline for integration
    • Review and confirm integration details
    • Sign partner agreement
    • Partner to provide Mealime with API credentials
    • Mealime to provide credentials for AWS S3 bucket to deliver data (if required)
  • Technical integration
    • Complete any data quality cleanup work needed
    • Set up file outputs according to specs
    • Create job to post daily data outputs
    • Review data with Data Engineer to resolve any remaining questions
    • Add Mealime SDK to Client Application(s) if applicable
    • Provide test build of Client Application to Mealime team for verification
  • Launch
  • Ongoing improvements
