ProPresenter is a cross-platform presentation and production software designed for live events. It supports slides, media playback, stage display, and integrates with audio/video systems.
Use cases include:
- Worship services
- School assemblies
- Theater productions
- Conferences and livestreams
- Slide Editor: Create and format slides.
- Media Bin: Store and organize videos/images.
- Playlist: Arrange cues for live use.
- Preview Window: See whatβs live and next.
- Stage Display: Customize output for performers.
To create a new presentation:
- Click β+β in the Playlist.
- Choose a theme or blank slide.
- Add text, media, and transitions.
- Use Groups to organize sections (e.g., Verse, Chorus, Sermon).
Best Practices:
- Use consistent fonts and colors.
- Label slides clearly for quick navigation.
- Use templates for recurring events.
Importing Media:
- Drag files into the Media Bin.
- Tag and label assets for easy access.
Playback Tips:
- Use βActionβ cues to trigger media.
- Preload videos to avoid lag.
- Loop background videos with βGo to Next Timer.β
ProPresenter uses multiple layers:
- Slide Layer
- Media Layer
- Props Layer (for overlays like logos or timers)
- Messages Layer (for live updates)
Props Setup:
- Go to Props tab.
- Create new overlay (e.g., countdown).
- Trigger manually or via cue.
Live Input:
- Connect camera via capture card.
- Configure in βLive Videoβ settings.
Stage Display:
- Customize layout for performers.
- Show lyrics, timers, or notes.
- Use networked devices or HDMI splitters.
Remote App:
- Download ProPresenter Remote (iOS/Android).
- Connect via local network.
- Control slides, playlists, and timers.
Network Tips:
- Use wired Ethernet for reliability.
- Assign static IPs for key devices.
- Enable WebSocket for advanced control.
