As I mentioned in #4, the interactive mode can be used to display (live) the iterations along the wfc algorithm.
One should be aware that PyCharm IDE does not show properly interactive figures in the tool window, disabling Settings | Tools | Python Scientific | Show plots in tool window should do the trick and force PyCharm to use the default figure window.
