Welcome to the CO2-Storage-Optimization project! This application helps you optimize carbon dioxide storage using advanced algorithms. With this tool, you can manage COβ injection and storage in geological formations easily.
Before you begin, make sure your system meets these requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 10 or later, macOS Mojave or later, or a recent version of Linux.
- RAM: At least 4 GB.
- Disk Space: At least 100 MB free.
- Python: Version 3.6 or later (this will install automatically with the app).
To get started, you need to download the application.
- Visit the Releases page to download.
- Find the latest release at the top of the page.
- Click the appropriate file for your operating system and download it.
Once you finish downloading, follow these steps to run the application:
- Navigate to the folder where you downloaded the file.
- For Windows users, double-click the
.exe
file to start the application. - For macOS users, double-click the
.dmg
file, then drag the app to your Applications folder. - For Linux users, use the terminal to navigate to the folder, then type
./<filename>
to launch.
The application will open, prompting you to enter basic information about your COβ storage project.
Our application includes the following key features:
- Data Input: Enter parameters to define your geological formation.
- Algorithm Options: Choose from several optimization algorithms to fit your needs.
- Visual Outputs: Generate graphs and charts to visualize your COβ storage options.
For new users, our guide simplifies the process:
- Setup: Upon launching, choose βNew Project.β Fill out the basic information fields.
- Select Algorithm: Pick from available algorithms to analyze your data.
- Run Analysis: Click the βOptimizeβ button to start the algorithm.
- View Results: Examine the charts and data presented.
The time varies based on the project size and selected algorithm. Smaller projects typically finish in minutes, while larger ones may take longer.
Yes, you can save your project at any time by clicking the "Save" option in the File menu.
