Submitting Updates to the Database
When submitting updates to the database, the following rules apply:
When submitting IGDB updates, use the slug in the web address, or the ID.
The slug can be found in the site address. For example from the address https://www.igdb.com/games/ghostbusters, the slug would be ghostbusters.
The ID can be found about half way down the page in the information section:
The ID can be found in the site address. For example: https://www.giantbomb.com/ghostbusters/3030-21416/ the ID would be 21416
The ID can be found in the site address. For example: https://thegamesdb.net/game.php?id=4395 the ID would be 4396
The ID can be found in the site address. For example: https://retroachievements.org/game/19 the ID would be 19
All other submissions should just use the link to the target page.
