Welcome to the RoboJam github Home page. This is a project being run at the University of Lincoln with funding and support from:

1. CERD (Centre for Educational Research and Development)
2. University of Lincoln School of Computer Science
3. ULCS (University of Lincoln Computing Society)

This project aims to design and develop appropriate activity tasks that will be used in a competition. The competition is intended to involve one day of learning the basics of robot design and programming and another day for the actual competition.

The development part of this project includes the preparation of hardware (Lego NXT Minstorms provided by SoCS), an appropriate competition arena and adaptation of the existing software library.

Getting Started

You must first setup your Lego NXT software and Brick, you can find instruction on how to do so here.

Installing and using git for Windows

1. Download and install git.
2. Run the Git GUI
3. Select 'Clone Existing Repository'.
4. Source Location = 'git@github.com:gcielniak/RoboJam.git'
5. Target Directory = Your Work Directory
6. When cloning, you will be prompted for your 'pass phrase', this was the one you used to setup your ssh-key.
