As a follow-up to #58176, this PR applies the improved docblocks introduced to the interface and subsequently inherits from there on implenting classes. Given this (for static code analysis purposes) broadens a function parameter type, this should be considered a backwards incompatible change for an interface, hence
masteris targeted. This should only be merged once #58716 has been merged and a subsequent merge to
masterhas occured, after which this work can be rebased.
