Adding the file to .gitignore wasn't enough, it has to be deleted (or in this case I renamed it to .sample) to be untracked.
Before pulling the changes, save your own glados_settings.yaml just in case, I don't know if git actually deletes it or not now that it's untracked, probably not but just to be on the safe side.
I also updated README.md to reflect settings migration from settings.env to the .yaml files.
