This project is a Power BI dashboard built using real survey data collected by Alex The Analyst from his YouTube audience.
The dashboard visualizes responses from hundreds of data professionals around the world—covering topics like salary, job satisfaction, preferred programming languages, roles, and more.
This project was created as part of a Power BI learning exercise, following Alex’s tutorial.
I used it to deepen my skills in:
- Power Query for data cleaning
- Data modeling and relationships
- DAX for calculated measures
- Building interactive and insightful visualizations
The dataset includes responses to questions such as:
- Country of residence
- Current role and industry
- Average salary
- Job satisfaction (1–10 scale)
- Favorite programming language
- Education background
- Years of experience
- Interactive slicers (e.g., by country, industry, role)
- Dynamic KPIs (e.g., average salary, satisfaction scores)
- Bar charts and pie charts summarizing key trends
- Clean, modern layout with consistent theme
