I have merged these into my own local codebase and confirmed they fixed my issue (identical to #11 and sangaline/wayback-machine-scraper#18). +1 for this PR |

schedule() was deprecated and has been removed - scrapy/scrapy#542 (comment)
Swapping it for crawl() seems to work.
