In order to make VimSpeak useful for real-world purposes, the following features are required:

  • Provide convenience helper to install and configure supported versions of DeepSpeech's pre-compiled library and models
  • Load installed library and models at runtime, erroring if unavailable
  • Accept and transcribe text from default audio input
  • Process transcription into Vim actions
