The major feature of Spin 3.5 is P3 support, which at this stage is unstable because it uses an RC which we know to be in flux. We therefore proposed to cover this off in blogs and samples, rather than including it in the main docs. However if anyone feels we should mention it in main docs then speak now! (Or speak later, it's not like we can't do a follow-up PR, speak whenever you want to, this is Liberty Hall.)
