# minsorted

> Compute the minimum value of a sorted one-dimensional ndarray.

<section class="intro">

</section>

<!-- /.intro -->

<section class="usage">

## Usage

```javascript
var minsorted = require( '@stdlib/stats/base/ndarray/minsorted' );
```

#### minsorted( arrays )

Computes the minimum value of a sorted one-dimensional ndarray.

```javascript
var ndarray = require( '@stdlib/ndarray/base/ctor' );
var xbuf = [ 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 ];
var x = new ndarray( 'generic', xbuf, [ 4 ], [ 1 ], 0, 'row-major' );
var v = minsorted( [ x ] );
// returns 1.0
```

The function has the following parameters:

- **arrays**: array-like object containing a one-dimensional input ndarray.

</section>

<!-- /.usage -->

<section class="notes">

## Notes

- If provided an empty one-dimensional ndarray, the function returns `NaN`.
- The input ndarray must be sorted in either ascending or descending order.

</section>

## Examples

<!-- eslint no-undef: "error" -->

```javascript
var linspace = require( '@stdlib/array/base/linspace' );
var ndarray = require( '@stdlib/ndarray/base/ctor' );
var ndarray2array = require( '@stdlib/ndarray/to-array' );
var minsorted = require( '@stdlib/stats/base/ndarray/minsorted' );
// Create a sorted buffer using a linear space:
var xbuf = linspace( -5.0, 5.0, 10 );
// Wrap in an ndarray:
var x = new ndarray( 'generic', xbuf, [ xbuf.length ], [ 1 ], 0, 'row-major' );
console.log( ndarray2array( x ) );
// Compute the minimum of the sorted ndarray:
var v = minsorted( [ x ] );
console.log( v );
```
